I've been running a Fidanza flywheel with stock clutch in my B5 RS4 for 6 years or so. It's proven reliable and if you like a more free revving engine it's a good choice. Downside is less engine inertia which makes it a little tricky when driving slowly (have to change up quickly to avoid dropping the revs too far and losing momentum). Also get chatter below 1800 rpm if trying to accelerate/go up hill but only in 2nd and 3rd as a rule.

I'm also looking for a single mass AAN replacement. It doesn't need to be light weight and could even be steel construction.

Is the Sachs SRE the same as a 707 or 765 Thuppu?

Running with leanders clutch flywheel and damped 4-puck sinter clutch. No problems, like it a lot

The best quality I've found at the best price point
is TTV flywheels. They can even make you custom
spec stuff. A true single mass steel design as well
with absolutely nothing bolted or riveted on.

                TTVracing.com. They're in the UK.

Yes I'm aware of that but most still have
the ****** riveted on tone ring. When going
for big power/ high revs etc. I prefer a true
1 piece unit. That leaves nothing to fail or
break on it. Also the TTV flywheels are better
quality and cheaper than %90 of flywheels on
the market. Also Thomas on audizine in the b5
section their was a thread started for people
using the fidanza flywheel and the tone ring
falling off and ruining their clutch & tranny
bell housing. It's ****** design they have bolted
on friction surfaces and riveted on tone ring.
