Yeah, add to those $$$ figures shipping and import taxes and the fact stuff is always more expensive once it makes it over here and that's looking about right . Like I said, I'll know more later this week.

If I'm way off and it's loads cheaper, then bonus! $1395 = £885 ...so there's certainly hope!

Have you considered contacting JBS or Partbox or one of the other named dealers for a quote?

Wavetrac is $1395 from 034, plus say £50 postage, plus duty, plus VAT, so at least £1150?

Wavetrac would appear to be the ultimate street setup.

For £260 You might as well fly over there, have it delivered to your hotel and bring the damn thing back in person and have a fun weekend in the process.

They do look good but a bit pricey for me.

@cardcrash I do them for £1280 supplied and fitted so £1200-1300 sounds about right

I've spoken to a dealer in California who can get them for $1200usd shipped within the U.S. I inquired direct to Wavetrac about a GB. Basically they will not facilitate a group buy unless it was through one of their dealers. Fair enough! Furthermore discussions about prices in a GB would have to be privat if going forward with my contact. I'm not going to organize payment or collect diffs for disbursement but I'm happy to get us the best price and pass on the dealer info so individuals can obtain a GB price. You'll pay shipping to your destination Country.
                      Cheers mis amigos,

Well you guys have gone quiet!

I've sent an email out to my dealer here in the States. Trying to get the price lower than $1200. He is going to get me shipping quotes to UK per Diff.

Each person can order direct from this firm when its all sorted. If you are in the US $1200shipped is the current price.

If we can get at least 10 purchased he's going to work down the price a bit more.

Please respond with any technical or basic questions here so I can relay them back.

                        Cheers mis amigos,
                        _Anton

Unfortunately this isn't a priority at this time for my funds. Maybe next year though.

Well I'm not sure about organising 10 people to go for a Wavetrac diff, but if you can come up with a figure for landing a diff in the UK I can perhaps cross reference that with whatever Will said he was getting one for and see if it's worthwhile. That is if he hasn't ordered the thing already!

Well aside from shipping, import duty and VAT you apparently void the warranty if you bypass a UK distributer, so these are things to consider.

Yes good points. I would honour your purchase with Will since you've already ordered a kit.

Will update the thread in a few days.
