  • slave cylinder problem!

Anyone know a smart solution on, how to disconnect the slave cylinder on the gearbox??
    I have to replace it..
I've heard there is only one mounting screw on it... but I cant find it of course..

If you turn steering full lock to the right it exposes as must as you will be able to see.

The single bolt is reachable with a socket and ratchet but you will need to do it by touch.... and of course the pipe feeding it as well, but it may be easier for you to detach it from the main pipe coming down as that is v easy to get at and can then undo the end on the slave cylinder once its out of the car

Trying to think, from memory i think you will need to detach the 2 gear linkage points to get to it clearly.

Its not too bad to do really, just make sure you use a genuine part to replace it as i used a patent part and it fouled on the gearbox and didnt fit.

I'll upload some pics i have at home from when i done it
