Yes i think it does, or atleast one of the S4 boxes does. The box in question can be fitted by doing some modifications on the bell housing as the rest of the box although stronger is essentially the same. I have spent hours searching for a proceedure i found years ago and lost in a re-format, written by a bloke who done this conversion in America a few years ago. To make it fit, a part of the bell housing needs to be notched out for the speed sensors to be fit on a custom bracket, and the only bolts which line up are four main bolts which need to be custom made as our block is tapped out 8-10mm diameter and the clearance bores for the bolts on the S4 box are 10-12mm so the bolts need to be shouldered to take up the slack, and lastly our cars are fitted with pro-con 10 which is a cable system which in the event of a severe front end impact pulls the seat belts tight and the steering wheel into the dash away from the driver and works by fitting around a bracket fitted onto the top of our old gearboxes. The S4 box doesnt have the mounting points for the procon ten bracket. But it fitted and run ok with no problems and he left the procon ten system disabled and loose on to of the box.

I have been wondering about the ProConTen hardware since my g/box was changed last year (it's not that easy to sort out!) - if you don't hook it up is there a missing functional link in the safety belt? Not expecting it to fail, just wondering if it allows too much free movement, or will the belts function like any other non-tensioning system?
If ProConTen can be removed safely, I think there is some useful weight to be saved from a series of steel cables being taken out!
