    What do you think guys?

    Superturismo

    Superleggera Race Silver

The largest wheel they list ifor the S2 is a 17 but they only spec the S2 fro 90 - 91? I know lee has 18" Velas. Maybe they don't have the right offset in 18"?

    Nice wheels though eh?

I crushed 2 of my PCW magnesium wheels in a MB SLK accident a while ago.

If it would be aluminium alloy ..... who knows what would happen. Strange thing that you can only see the damage once tyres removed. Like smashed star arms and s.o. The welding ... oh damn. Who ever weld a magnesium would know ...

What are the strongest wheels among OZ'es ?
    Vadim.

New engine (mechanical PKM head) , Alcon 332mm brakes , Pauter rods , Mahle pistons, GT30R , kw v2 sucpension , new exhaust. 608HP. For SALE !

They're supposed to be really strong and they're made for racing, I like them. They're also very "quattro" if you know what I mean.

I can vouch for the strength of OZ alloys. I recently hit a kerb quite hard, destroying my Goodyear Eagle F1 in the process. The rim was perfect and after hearing how readily the RS4 guys were bending their rims, I am glad I went for a big name brand alloy. I would always pay a bit extra for the alloys to get quality. The rims are cheaper than the tyres you wrap them in sp why not pay the small extra in the begining.

My alloys are very heavy. Bigger rims always have more aluminium and OZ uses thicker material sections than many others. Smaller rims result in lighter wheels for a given tyre rolling cicumference.

I didn't order mine as an Audi S2 fitment becasue OZ didn't recomend an 18" wheel. I specified 8"x18" ET35 5x112 Audi fitment. I specifically did not mention the model!

A lot of RS4's suffer because the alloy is too soft. Audi have replaced no edn of them under warranty because they warp out of shape even over pot holes etc.

Are the OZ wheels forged? Anybody know.
