What size are preferred on the avus wheel for a coupe? I previously used to have 225 40 18's, I'm wondering if anyone's got experience and pics with 225/35/18's instead?
Thanks

I would think 35 would be too low as regards comfort, looks, and getting buckled on daily driven roads.
When I saw this thread I thought you might be looking to go to 235/40/18 rather than the normal 225/50/18. 235/40/18 will also work and give a bit of rim protection, because you will eventually scuff a kerb no matter who you are.
In summary I feel 225/35 is a step too far / extreme.
225/40 is already pushing the limit but still fine ime.
Come to think of it, it's coming back to me now. With the 225 40's the ride was pretty rubbish, so going 35's doesn't make sense. That's that sorted!
Coupe looks lovely Vonbeck, what suspension set up is that? Seems pretty low!
