well I drove my GF's brothers Clio trophy on 888s at Combe last weekend and the grip was immense, we were lapping about 15 secs faster than a RS 197 on road tyres

V70a's used on track at Coombe...Newsh, Acidburn or Stiglet can vouch for the grip in the dry at least They wore well and felt fantastic plus being road legal, drove there and back on them.

Because when you loose the grip with slicks, you´re lost, if you not are an really good driver! HELLO ARMCO

( that why im only using my slicks to muckup the suspension and move the car )

Hmmm... I've been using slicks(BTCC/STCC 240/610x17) all season (700+ km on track) and find them easy to use. On the edge they warn you before letting go so no problem

Yes yes, no problem in that way, but WHEN they let go...

it´s all about Driver skills in the end anyway, just wanted to warn people..

One thing i've learned we are way behind the Scandinavians!

what do you mean by "warning" before they let go mate?
Used BTCC slicks are cheap and easy to get hold of but i was worried about using them for the reasons Lind4l mentioned
