  • Best ET for 8x18" RS2

May be looking at new rims... what is the optimal ET for 8x18"?

I have ET52 on the rims i'm using now 8,5x18".

Or should it be the same?
    Can't know everything

Hi did you have any hitting problems with the 8.5 x 18 ET52, Was the car lowered and what tire size 245/35 by any chance, There is quite limited choice in 8 x 18 as its not a normal porsche front size

45 on an 8 will sit 1mm further out than 52 on an 8.5.

On my 18x8,5 i have 235/40 not lowerd when they where fitted... now it is.
Had som hitting when steering big etc, realy bad suspention also.

The "Porsche" rims i'm looking at are 18x8 ET45... Quite common frontsize from that brand.

Yep should be. The difference between 8" and 8.5" is 1/2 an inch or 12mm which means 6mm extra each side of centre of the rim.. so you'd need 6mm less offset to be the same distance from the wheel arch.
