RS2 tyre size

My 8.5s are et52 with 245 35 18 tires.

Old thread... but, maybe, someone knows, or has experience with fitting at the rear
R17 8.5J ET50 with 255/40 tires ??
those would be best fitment with the fronts (aka OEM) R17 7J ET55 with 225/45

I just have an option to purchase full set up like this, that's why such a question:

Much better running a square setup IMO. Rolling radius is very close with what you are proposing, but even if it does not rub at the rear, I suspect it will push like mad (understeer).

I understand all consequences, but still I would go for this set up if it would fit .....

A 255 is too wide. It will touch the upright and the wing edge. Just not enough room.

yahhh, as expected... but how then R18 9J ET50 is fitting even at the front with 225 ???

It will be too far outwards. Or great if you like that poked out stretch look. It will be 4.3mm further out than my 8.5.
