what 18" tire size on an UrS4 avant with S8 mk1 rims?

Its a Swedish car, and as i' m looking for a correct dimension on tyres for my refurbed S8 Wheels I found this thread ! What a treat...

Just for reference those wheels when fitted to their original car (D2 S8) would have had 245/45R18 tyres.
Whether that works on a S2 with fouling anything will depend on suspension settings, possibly needing small spacers etc.

The width of 245 is pretty spot on for the wheel width so anything below a 235 tyre would be really pushing it. A slightly lower profile of say 40 would probably be the better choice if you need an overall slight size reduction.
