Hey guys,
I'm wheel shopping for my B4 S2 and i'm wondering what is the maximum Wheel width you can fit on an S2... I found a set of Corvette Saw Blades that are 17x9.5 i'm wondering if i can fit that on my car.
It depands if you have a coupe or avant. You can get pretty wide wheels on a coupe but your restricted due to the suspension on the rear of an avant.

You would need quite a significant pull on the rear arches to get them to fit with proper tyres or you'd need to use a gay stretch... as above 8.5j max (IMHO)
Have a word with the polishing Frenchman on here. Rob as he is otherwise known as, has a bit of a wheel obsession and fits some fairly wide ones under the back of his avant!

Apparently its not impossible but its gonna be hard..... Stretch and rolling the fenders is a must, Since im gonna have to do all that might as well camber the rear.
Now i just need to figure out the tire size..
Dose anyone know where i can get an affordable height adjustable coil over and camber plates??
Just my own opinion, if I owned a nice silver S2 saloon, while I'd maybe look at different wheels, but I wouldn't make a big arch change to the car, just to fit a set of wide wheels that I like now, but may not always like in the future, as I'd be left with a "butchered" car.
When the car was designed by Audi the arches suited the car and so wide wheels and tyres fitted in under the standard arches with the right ride height, giving the right stance, it will be admired by the majority of people.
Heavily pulled arches to accommodate 9" rims will look a bit over the top, and a much small number of people will like it.
I know you're doing for yourself, but there is a reason less people will like it.
Regardless of the above, please post the photos of what you do.
Post a photo of the car and someone can photoshop the Corvette rims on to the photo.
I understand you completely, but you guys need to know the plans i have for the car....I am going to run this setup for now, I’m gonna have it like that for only a year, I’m not going to roll the fender that much. I'm always going to have wide rear tires and a nice offset on the car... I’m currently saving money to fully build the engine, Buy Porsche Chayenne 6 piston calipers and rotors and everything in between... I was raised in Miami FL the birth place of Stance in the US and home to some of the best modified, Stanced European cars in the world. Stance is and has been really big in the US for quite some time now. I have been in the American VW/Audi scene since i bought my first car. I see what i plan on doing to my car completely normal most of my friends back in Miami have stanced cars...You guys on the other hand see it as bad taste or as strange, Some might even say I’m destroying a rare car.
The way i see it is that nothing is permanent, i can always go back to stock if need be, The fenders are no big deal I’m not going to pull them to the point that i will need to get paint work done. Personally wouldn’t be able to keep any car I own 100% stock, I would at least drop it on some wheels.
Here are some of my friends cars from back home.

I do believe if you modify the car to accept stupid size rear wheels you will live to regret it when the fashion moves on. IMHO It is a crime to irreversibly modify such a rare car.
You should keep in mind you should have the same rolling radius on all 4 corners with a quattro
