Thanks Rusty, this is good point.you can buy wheels for £300 but you will have to spend another 300-400 to get them refurbished.
I'm tired of spending money on the car

For performance is best 17" for look 18"...I have 17" light and strong Team dynamics, when i compare to some OEM wheels, the car is absolutely amazing, handling is perfect and the cornering is awesome. Also have a 324mm brakes, so it looks sick, when is wheel filled with rotor and caliper and brakes like hell 18" its just too much, only for show n shine

              Mk 1 TT rims are a pcd of 5 x 100.

But Audi also made this style of rim in a pcd of 5 x 112.

Agreed, they may well do, but while recently moving and lifting bare S8 Mk 1 rims and UrS6+ rims, the 18" S8 rims are noticeably lighter than the UrS6+ 17" rims. I was surprised also.

Have not weighed my respective tyres, yet.

They're A8 Sport alloys, quite a few members on here ,myself included ,have /have had them. They're a goodlooking wheel but rather heavy.

Indeed David the 18"Avus alloys weigh a pound less than the 17' plus specks. I've weighed both bare wheels, have it written down somewhere, respectively without wheel weights. The 18" Avus Mk1 rims are forged which is a nice bonus and very strong.
