    Intruder in Da House!!

    Hi all, my login name should be a clue to what I drive, and I am afraid it is not an Audi...although I have burnt a few up in the 4 years since I bought it!!

    I used to own an old Audi..it was a 100 quatro turbo..**** fast!

    For anyone who hasn't figured out my car from my login..It's a 2002 Volvo C70 Coupe (not a convertible) T5.

    The C70 is a non-standard one as I had a mad moment just over a year ago and had a specialist remap the ECU (Volvo approved) and install Volvo Race Cams..to deal with the increased power (Up from 242bhp to 310bhp) they also installed Black Diamond Discs and Red Stuff Pads...0-60mph = an estimated 6.1..

    This is a **** fast car and burns up any of the Audi's that have tried...in fact I can even do a Porsche Boxster if I really go for it..the middle range in staggering..

    does n't ya flat cap fall off and your pipe go out at those speeds then

              you seem more like an Audi `man` than a classic Volvo `person` to me. Ditch the Volvo and get yourself an Audi you will never look back! plus you can be on here without making all the excuses, go on dude you know it makes sense.

                  If I could afford the Audi I want..then I would buy it..but I don't have £60 odd grand knocking about...

                  The one I want is the A8 W12

                  Managed to get a drive of one not too long back....WOW....

                  I am not keen on some of the more "down to earth" Audi's as I think they fail to do the mark justice...although I canot say that about the S2's or any of the RS models...

                  Audi need to get back into Rallying...

                  That way they can those cheeky Froggy upstarts from Citroen...

                      Eh don't wanna play devils advocate here but a standard S2 with a rechip will mince a porsche boxter dude, did one last night on the way home from heathrow with the father in law holding the FM handle in the passenger seat and a suitcase in the back.


                      Respect for coming on here and hookin up with some proper petrol heads though, just need to get the S2/RS2 now

                        As I said in an earlier post, if I had the kind of money to buy that type of vehicle, it would be an A8-W12...serious power from a serious car.

                              Hehe.. have to put one in for the slipper wagon crew now I've joined them

                              I took my bro-in-law out in the Coupe, bout 290-300bhp at the time, and he said it was the only car he'd been in that felt faster than his T5 (which was a damn fine car I must say). You have to appreciate the 5cyl motor configuration!

                              As for Boxster's, I've eaten them up and spat them out in little Bubble's. The Boxster S is about even-steven with a remapped S2, but I had a lovely race with a Carrera 4S who had a bit more top-end power, but couldn't even get level with me. That's torque for ya! Don't think he was too happy about it either...
