        Interesting coincidences.
Just over a year ago both the VW Audi Car Nothelle N300 Avants were for sale at the same time on Autotrader.
A year later, both have changed hands again - Key has the roadtest one ( he beat me to it - I was arguing about price! ), and I have just bought Paul Harris' silver car... and the interesting coincidence there is that Paul offered me that car probably ten years ago for about £18k.
Having just sold my LHD RS2, the opportunity to purchase this time around was too good to miss. Performance isn't lacking in comparison with standard RS2, but it is delivered in a far more urgent fashion.
I see from previous posts that my car has been through the hands of a few people on this site, and seems to have been reasonably well looked after. I intend to carry on the good work and it's booked into MRC next Tuesday!
        Cheers
        John

I have a Nothelle S2 N300 too and am in two minds whether to sell or get it sorted out. Who are MRC and whereabouts are they? I might give them a call to see what they can do.

I was going to take it to APS in Brackley as they've done a great job on my TT and have a lot of fans on the TT forum. Plus of course a £45ph labour rate helps, especially when you can see how much labour you get for your money!

          Cheers

              Hi Rich
APS in Brackley.... or ART ( Accident Repair Technology ) in Brackley? They're the people who gave me the quote to repair your car when I was working out the maths!
MRC are just down the road in Banbury - speciality is mechanical and tuning, not bodywork.
              Cheers

Not got the internet at home and when I do get on it's for limited periods - so sorry for any late replies! But firstly thanks for the very warm welcome I've been given

To Bry, yes what are them 2 red LED lights for in the interior? I've broken one, and the 2nd will be going the same way soon enough until I can find a replacement panel to cover the holes! Baffling to me what they are for, is it alarm/immobiliser related or just bad taste? As for the manifold, thanks for the heads up on that, I shall have a look when I next get chance - I guess you went up and had a look at it before I ended up buying it? Any other opinions on it, problems etc?

To EricD, I beleive the brakes are standard setup - they seem to work well enough on it for now, though if the chance to uprate them comes along then it will most probably be taken! As for the 360 thrust bearing in the turbo, what are the benefits/downsides to that modification?

B300ABT - I've seen the car you've bought online, seems to come up in more searches, looks very nice in silver (any pics?) what are your thoughts on it? Weren't too keen on the amethyst at first after owning an A6 Avant in silver for a year or so, but it soon grew on me and love the car now - does everything the A6 did, but much more fun!

As for MRC, I must admit I've not heard of them and they sound some distance away - what would be the benefits of taking it to them? Do they specialise in Audi's of this king?
