Loads....in no particular order....

Search for the answer, before asking the question.... it will be here
Sort the brakes out first by following the standard monoblock route...trust me, it works
Search again using different key words...trust me, we all asked and the answer IS here
- Don't ask Fatty about his name
- Ask BRY the question 3 times - he is a Northerner and therefore dodgy by nature
- Trust everything that S2Avant says, unless you want US spec parts
- Be happy with the power for as long as possible...it'll save your marriage
- Accept that you should have bought a Coupe rather than a coffin carrier
- Don't park beside Fatty, your car will NEVER look as shiney as his, but at least you have original wheels
- Ignore what that HPmuirt character says, he just takes the p!$$ out of everyone

Oh, and one more....loose the capitals from the beginning of every word

Other than that....read, learn, ask dumb questions and ENJOY

Welcome to the Avant side of life, enjoy the boot space, superior handling and being able to see out the back window and now water collecting on therear spoiler...........

Being able to get people in the back without having to get out and being able to wire your ICE to the battery very easily!

to possibly the most off-the-wall thread I've seen in some time. Si seems to have started the whole coupe / avant debate again... I've never done that... drunk... ever

Advice would be:-

Ignore the fuel economy, especially on the autocheck, it'll more than likely be worse than the numbers sugest .

Sort the brakes out first, 996 monoblocks are cost effective and fit under the 16s, other, more bling options are available elsewhere. Characters such as BRY and Corey will be able to point you in the right direstion there.

If the car runs rough, it's almost certainl some sort of boost leak!!!

Do the Mark H intercooler mod (if it's not already been soted), best £30 you can spend on an S2 and available from a few places as a kit now (VAG Parts, Quattronics etc.)

Enjoy the car (even if it is the wrong shape )

OK, we'll start with the question that nails every slipper owner on here.....

What was the car that started it all...the UR, now was that a Coupe or a coffin carrier?

or how about these.....

Never seen an S1 Avant, or a Pikes Peak Hearse.
I dont remember Walter Rohl asking for a pipe and slippers
When was the last time a coffin carrier won the WRC?
I never Saw Michelle Mouton complain about rear leg room
Did the original Stig ever try to put his 2 dogs in the back of his rally car?
