    dialynx newbie

    Hi guys

i am a newby on here but am very close to buying a dialynx swb ex hillclimb (now road legal) car. I was wondering if any of you have any idea what the value is of these cars. i know there were only 20 or so built originally and they will therefore be in short supply. Any help would be great. many thanks.

Thats a great bit of kit you are looking at, is it a silver one by chance?

Its got to be worth as much as you are willing to pay at the end of the day, i mean how do you put a price on happiness?

There have been a few threads, that are worth looking at. Have a search around the forum... Its a gold mine

thats the one.. went to see the car and it was a peach that has been kept in mint condition. I will post the full spec later, but think that 29k is top money for one of these cars. does anyone have any idea of what prices have been achived in the past. thanks

its a red one whihc has 500bhp and has been used as a hillclimb car in the past. the silver one you may be referring to is also owned by the same guy and is white now, and is running somewher in the region of 700bhp.

i'd check that car out properly first mate from what i heard it was involved in a crash on one of those hillclimb events (it hit a tree ).
thats why he bought the silver one from dialynx and painted it white

I've seen a video of a hillclimbing incident with a red SWB rep and a tree... Just spent 10mins searching and can't find it now.

Seeing as it's basically a custom job, it's "worth" what you're willing to pay for it, there isn't a big enough market to set an obviously "reasonable" price I would say?

Bear in mind what you'll have to spend on maintaining the thing, getting hold of parts etc...

This forum will always be able to help you when you do buy it though

                              Hi Darren,

Does it have the sloping UR windscreen or is it the full monty upright windscreen?

Have you got any pics of it?
