I'm new to the S2 thing

hello all, names lewis, i have a 1994 S2 coupe! ive had it for about 2 months. absolutly love it. have only just been able to log onto this site, my internet was dodgy! heres a pic i took today:



so far i have changed the thermostat (was stuck open) and put new lower door mouldings on. still got the brakes and leaking sump to attack!

With the brakes if possible be worthwhile to upgrade them, there's a sticky thread about it in the forums section.

Nice car, where abouts in the country do you come from?

yer im thinking of upgrading the brakes. dont think i will be going as far as putting the Porsche callipers on but i will stick some better pads and discs on

Hmmm might be able to space the standard callipers out so you can go up with the disc size.

When I first got mine (chipped 3b 277.8 bhp) I found the standard (but new) brakes could not stop the car so have since upgraded them.

I come from down sunny swindon. IIRC there is a few people up reading way from the site.

steve, it was from slough so nice and local. bit of history... Audi Amersham were the first owners for about 4months, then it was sold to the guy i bought it from! he only did a few miles a year so hence the 88k on the clock.

88k...ahhh those were the days...mines on 183K and still sweet as a nut (well it will be once the alternator is sorted )

Oh, a different red one then. Don't remember seeing that one advertised. Sounds like a minter! I always like to see mudflaps on a car from new. Shows the owner cares... (I always take them off though! )

yer i only have 3 mud flaps on it! they are coming off just as soon as i get it up on the ramp at work
