well done on the badge removal, you'll fit in here juuuuuuust fine

Personally i would get a set of later light clusters for the rear as i'm not a fan of the reverse light lenses on these (or the very early S2's that used the same).

Looks in good shape on the outside, could book in a session with FatAudi80 and let him loose on the car with his machine polisher, results might make your boss jealous that here ever sold it on

will look into the rear light clusters mate cheers, i was more sorta after either lowering kit or coiles and some decent wheels lol, but i cant seem to find any in 4 by 108? (so im told anyway) its in decent nick, bit of paint chipping in places, but to be expected seeing as the car is from 1990 lol.

the badge dont worry, i h8 styling like that, Euro is more my thing =)

H&R springs and bilsteins or konis...

As for wheels, yeah might struggle a bit on that setup but a few on here have done plenty with the CQ so maybe use the search function for some inspiration

As for the rear lights..... i'm just getting old before my time and an*l with it i think

Sohhhh - welcome aboard... Are you sure you know what you are in for here? The temptation to tweak, improve, polish, modify, cherish, make faster, make slower and enjoy these old cars is just too great.

Is it a KV or NG or 7A engine - what does the VIN sticker or the log book say ?

1st bit of advice - don't waste your money on the 5x112 hub conversion unless there is a set of wheels you just can't refuse in that fitment. You should have lots of sexy and unusual choices at 4x108 if you are clever. You might need some custom help getting a big brake conversion on that setup but without the turbo engine that ain't a big worry.

Being an old bloke myself I don't like them to be tooo low but if thats yer thang then there are various options of lowered spring kits and even exotic coilover fully adjustable setups - reckon on it costing you the value of the car though !

With some subtle touches, the odd cast-off parts from an S2 to give you sports suspension at 2nd hand prices and cosmetic / functional tweaks like updated (and HID) lights you could really give that car some more visual appeal and make it look younger than what it is.

Depends what department your desire for modifications lies - looks, handling, power, brakes or whatever... You'd be wise to take some time to learn what you have and the options in front of you before doing things like dashing off to the hub conversion shop for starters. Enjoy the car as it is for a while and guage what you think it needs to please you more - assuming its mechanically sound for starters.
