What would be the implications on importing an S2 Coupe shell (body) only and re shelling a coupe you have bought there?

A FWD 20 valve coupe box would do the job.

Isn't the S2 Coupe chassis different to the Coupe, I'm sure Error404 identified that it was strengthened over a stock Coupe.

            Found a Coupe Quattro V6 (2.6) MY1996!

I will call the owner to tell me the price.

I can imagine about 5K euros!

              Welcome to the Forum.

With my experience on the Greek slippery roads, I suggest you stick with 4WD. Don't even bother going with 2WD!!!

Yeah, i totally agree with you but i cannot find a 4wd Coupe.
So guys, i need your opinion!
I found one FWD Coupe in Greece, imported from Germany marked as "Spare parts".
The man is selling it for 1.000 euros. I think its a very good price.
It is a 2.0L 1990 model with 130k kms on it.
                What do you think guys?

UNLESS you work in europe in which case you can import a car from the country you work at (for at least 2 years) and then you dont pay any import tax so long as you dont sell the car for the next 6 years
Holy Crap That makes me feel slightly less bad about the stupid VRT over here. Finally, a place with more outrageous taxes than Ireland!
