hello from a new owner

Hello all,

time to introduce myself to the forum now Iv finally got ahold of an S2. I'm sure a lot of you will already know it as crawford_s2's ragusa green coupe and dont fret crawf I'll take good care of it. Got a good 700 mile test drive from gatwick back to raasay (small rock near skye) and she's fully living up to expectations. Crawf to his credit has handed her over in pristine condition so hopefully I wont be needing to get my hands dirty for a while yet but when I do I'm sure il be about on here seeking advice. In the mean time il try and get some photo's up in her new habitat. Also out of interest are there many members around this part of the world?

Great to hear you had a good trip home, miss it so much and know you will look after it. Been to gloucester today to pick up its replacement, a slower, much more sensible, A4 avant. I had a really sensible drive home too. But did stop on the way to pick up some 9" wide steels for the truck, can't be too sensible, i am a S2forum member through and through after all! Enjoy my car Norman, the long term lone is open ended but it better stay mint for when you return it LoL

Just to have a Family Holiday Home on Bute.... Came up in my S2 a few times... RS6 More often as it could accomodate all the "Goodies" we used to bring back....
(Scotch Pies, Scottish Beef, Steak Sos, Aryshire Bacon, Fruit Pudding, Haggis, Smoked Salmon etc etc).... Happy Days... (Bet the butcher misses me!!!)

There was a Red 3B on the island... but it's been a few years since I was up and I don't know if its still there..
