I’ve been a member here for a few months but this is the first post I’ve written. I’m trying to trace my old S2 that I had back in my youth (25yrs old) it was a 3B model and was purchased late 1997 I was the second owner of the vehicle and had it for just over 2 years and had spent £1000s on it before I had to unfortunately get rid of it due to money troubles at that time.
I’m wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of the car. I’ve checked with DVLA and do know its still been taxed and is on the road. If I don’t get any joy here I will contact DVLA and ask them for the present keeper. The car was purchased from Fontain Motors after seeing it advertised in Top Marques. I still have here all the printed receipts from Audi whenever it went in for work to be done, these total £8000+ and the purchase receipt from Fontain for £12,576, this was cheap at the time as it had done a high mileage of 140k. It was reading 160k+ when I had to let it go in Feb or March 2000. It had full leather plus the opening rear quarter windows.
If I've done it correctly hopefully you should be able to see a couple of old blurry pics I've scanned into the computer, as you can see I'm no David Bailey.
