I've just purchased a new car (well new old one) it's a RS2, guards red, 1994.

Thought I'd say hi



Needs a bit of work , but will post in the appropriate place and hopefully get some good pointers.

Nice car. Nik has shared some info about your RS2's history and I have forwarded the info to veneto RS2 (a forum member here) who has connections and might be able to find out more. (I am crazy UrS (C4 UrS, S2 and RS2) info hunter - mostly harmless)

*IF* you do happen to find the build sticker or a sheet up in the dash, I would be very interested in trying to decode it.

hiya, thanks for the post! yeah, this car has a somewhat colourful history

apparently it was a porsche prototype car (hence the guards red), and also the lack of plates \ audi info on the car. no one knows how it got to NZ though!

Nope, not many RS2's down here (I think about 13 or 14!), and about 35 B5 RS4's , so not a heck of a lot parts (or expertise) down here! Thats why these sites are so valuable!

excuse the L plate in the windows (the wife is learning to drive!) The 2 would be better for her to learn in but we only just got it and I need to sort the 1st gear syncro before she gets in
