thanks! too be honest, she did most of her learning with a mate and their Toyota Corolla. But now she's pretty competent and needs to learn to drive our cars

Nope, not many RS2's down here (I think about 13 or 14!), and about 35 B5 RS4's , so not a heck of a lot parts (or expertise) down here! Thats why these sites are so valuable!

Only one of the NZ RS2's are in the South Island, you will have to keep your eyes pealed for it.

I've just purchased a new car (well new old one) it's a RS2, guards red, 1994.

Thought I'd say hi



Needs a bit of work , but will post in the appropriate place and hopefully get some good pointers.





Here it is paired up with our other car (B5 RS4)

I can't rember reading about the RS2 that you could buy it in guards red, only laser red. What does the sticker say about the paint code.

Wetaworker's red RS2 is some kind of prototype. It is Guards Red, not Laser Red. It does not have the normal RS2 VIN tag. Stephano Z. (VenetoRS2 here) from the Italian Audi club has been and will be trying to find out more info about Wetaworker's car when he visits Audi Tradition.

thanks! i can't wait for the RS2 to get back on the road. I'm sure it's been off the road longer than on since I've had it

first gear syncro issues turned out to be much much more and I was better off getting another box.

on a brighter note, huge help from steverrquattro who's sourced another rs2 box, got it pulled apart and checked by gearbox people and having it sent (flown!) to NZ!

we're almost there! and its all thanks to him!

fingers crossed! cause I'm car'less (the wife has her license and now the RS4 to do all the child runs)
