You may find that the clutch pedal will return even if it is not bled properly as there is a return spring at the top of the pedal itself.

Welcome,
Thoroughly re-check everything before resorting to having to take out the gearbox, everything else you need to check is less hassle than removing the box.
The front brakes are a good idea - 323 mm discs with "big reds" are enough and suit 17" rims. 8" x 17" rims with 225/40/17 tyres are the best happy medium re performance and comfort.
The list is endless, but the next item on your To Do List should be make sure everything works as it did when it left the factory.
Chip it. Don't get hung up on a single mass 3b flywheel. It depends on if it will be a 380bhp daily of a 450bhp track car ?
Anything you want to know, a search or a post should give you the answer as someone somewhere has experience of what you're asking about.
Photos.
You'll need an understanding partner, and a resilient wallet as others have accurately pointed out.
Kind regards.

kimberworth but i work in attercliffe ill get some pictures its parked at work at minute until i sort clutch and brakes.
it needs roof and o/s rear quarter painting
o/s rear sill isnt brilliant but ill get it sorted. The car only cost 500pound so cant complain really im hoping to get it on road for about another 500pound but well see famous last word
Does any where do repair sills so i can fit new section in rather that plate it up?Comment

I scrapped a mint shell on Wednesday, shame you had not come on a little earlier you could have cut the cills out of that.
£500 is a very very cheap S2! Especially a 6 speed ABY, no matter what the faults are it's a good investment.
I would say even if you threw another £3000 at it you would still be in the money when or if you decide to sell it on.Comment

s2 been parked up for 3 years
main problem is clutch wont disengage this is why it was parked up its had new master and slave cylinders but still wont clear it will drive if you start it in gear
Do they have a release arm to operate clutch? not sure how it works i will be removing gear box at work in next couple of days anybody had this problem thanks[/QUOTE]
If its been stood for a long time the cluch disc might have rusted to the flywheel and pressure plate. Therefore it might be bleed and working but bending the fingers!!!!
I had to go out to somebody who had driven through a flood and parked the car up 1 mile down the road, over night it had rusted up
It felt like you had a clutch pedal but you couldnt engage gears.
Start the car up in gear, throttle on and off hard and press the clutch pedal, it MIGHT unseize.Comment
