im planning this over the next few years so havnt set a budget. its not going to be cheap. but it will be rewarding

To do engine for around 600hp cost me about £4000.This including turbo, manifolds,injectors,fuel pump and vems ecu.

So today i went on the hunt for the 2.5 block. To my dissapointment its absolutely knackered. Has been in a accident and block is cracked and the starter housing has broken off and is missing also its a empty block. No crank rods etc. Absolutely devestated. But heyho il just stick with the aby bottom end.
My question now is whats the maximum i can overbore the aby for a larger dispacement and if i do that are the bores capable of putting up with such high pressures.

for the turbo use, 82,5... with piani string in the surface of gasged; se 034 motorsport 2,3 turbokit... ( its 82,5 bore) the syl thickness about 6,1-6,3mm at 81,00 boredia...

so here is my aby engine that i just bought.. head is all stripped and ready to go to the machine shop for some porting and polishing and a set of 0.5+ oversized valves.
will keep yas updated on my progrees.

You need to speak to JP on the forum for headwork. AFAIK oversize valves on these heads are pretty pointless without some major work to reshape the ports.
