Just bought today

Hi folks,

Really pleased to have stumbled upon the sight after purchasing this car today. Purchased after tapping on the door and offering cash.

Not moved for 8 years and a bit sorry for itself.

Sadly the car was in beautiful condition and on the trip home the passenger door latch failed and the door flung open snd creased the passenger dide door.

Does anyone have one for sale? It is passenger side.

Licated in Chesterfield but would travel for correct colour bolt on conditioned one.

Welcome Someone on here will have a decent coupe door I would think What colour is it? Looks like it might be LZ5U Indigo Pearl.

Put up some more pics, one of the engine bay would be good, if it's an S2 it will be a 3B.

Will get the colour code too. Its a dark metallic green. Gutted bout what happned. Not sure why it did to be fair.

The paint code is on the square build tag in the warranty book or in the boot beside the spare tyre.

I think you will find that the colour is emerald pearl effect as listed in this RS2 paint code list/

looks more like ragusa. At least it has the headlights upgraded so thats saved some money

very occasionally my drivers door clicks open while driving along. always solved with oil - i put it down to the catch not catching properly for some reason, a good blastwith WD40 frees it up. The last time it did it the tell tale sign was the exterior door handles was sticky and wasn't returning flat into the door under spring power alone so perhaps was fooling the latch into thinking someone was opening the door?...

Mine used to do this, the lock mechanism will have loads of gluey old grease in it, clean and regrease it, also probably the door catch needs a bit of adjustment
