Well, after lurking for years I finally decided to join up. I'm in the U.S., live in California, north of Los Angeles and work in Georgia, Atlanta area. I've had a 1990 CQ for about 13 years and before that it belonged to my aunt and uncle who bought it new. I'd spent a lot of time reading about all the changes guys were making to their cars and thinking "I want to do that!" It is finally time. I don't plan to go full S2 but my version of what my car should have been all along. I am currently in the parts acquisition stage once I start in on it I'll post pics as I can. Thank you to all of you that post your projects in detail. It has made figuring things out much simpler. A big thank you goes to Gary M for being persistent when it came to shipping the I.C. and crossmember and to Kit for answering my PM's quickly and being willing to ship stuff to the states even though it's a PITA.
