You could also check the relief relay. This is the one that switches everything else off when you start the car.

I have touched nothing. Since earlier. And now. It starts and drives. Definitely something loose or poorly connected. But. What and where....

First attempt relays went mental car seemed flat. Then seconded attempt fired up as you would expect

Did you check the relief relay?
Pop the top off the fuse box and give the relays a wiggle, see if it comes back to life.
