Very nice car. However, I am confused as to why you are calling it a "C5". As far as I know "C5" was the next generation of A6 that followed the 1992 to 1997 C4 Audi 100/A6s. The coupe quattros (including the S2) on the other hand were B3 and B4 with the first A4 being designated B5. Just curious. I must be missing something
Dave, C5 is what the Abt boys called it. Nothing to do with Audi's model designation.
Thanks Tom. I figured that it would be as such. I tried to read EB ABT S2's avatar image (something from Abt) but could not. I wonder why they used "C5"?

Thanks Error404. I have been edumakated. Naturally, I still find the "C5" designation choice by Abt to be odd. Must mean something, like the fifth version of the coupe?

Seven years of looking and one year of doing it, you've served your time.
Lovely to see someone getting their car across the line, after all that work and effort, not to mention the expense. Love the photos. They remind me of all my cars various trials and tribulations over too many years.
