I am going to do an info post soon that compares the 3B with the AAN/ABY/ADU triplets. To do this, I need to touch on all of the differences. I have limited exposure to 3Bs here in Canada (we didn't get any but the US did in 1991 200 20Vts - which I have seen), so I need input from S2 3B owners:
Off the top of my head, I *think* some of the differences include:
1. Single coil versus multiple coils
2. The way the MFTS works with the ECU
3. Hall sender in a dizzy versus Hall sender behind the exhaust cam sprocket (not withstanding the early "Tuna Can" AANs (to mid Feb. 92))
4. Oil pumps
5. ??
etc. etc.
