I don´t know. I haven´t asked the builder, but I recon it has something to do with approvement at our DMV. They are quite strict and thoroug with the weights on the car to be approved, and the S2 sedan wich already has the right engine and registered chassis weights would be the best chassis to use. I think this was a result of those rules.

I had an apllication in with the Norwegian DMV conserning my old 2,8 V6 quattro and a rebuild to RS2 sedan, and the application was approved as long as I kept within the registered weights after the build. That project is sold and still going on in the buyers hands, so I´m exited to see how this goes.

Got the trims as well, but as you might see the wing on the headlights have been removed by a previous owner. Might be because they mounted a big non OEM intercooler. I´m going to install new headlights in the front when I can afford it. The budget is way past blown

Thanks rs2qoupe, but I think I´m going for red taillights.
How much is he asking for them? Might be an alternative though.

I need some help here guys.
I´ve got some trouble with the cooling. The water starts to boil @94 degrees celsius read out on ch.51 in AC display. I have no functioning coolant temp indicator other than that at the moment.
It´s been like this since I finished the car, so I have´nt driven it more than 30-40km
I really need to get this sorted out so I can start using it with full trottle. It deserves to be driven again.

I´ve removed the auxilary ratiator behind the grille including afterrun pump and installed silicone coolant hoses from 034motorsport without aux cooling.

                        I´ve also changed following:
                        3 layer steel head gasket
                        ARP headstuds
                        Thermoswich
                        Main radiator
                        Watertemp sensors
                        Waterpump and thermostat

The heater in the car works like normal. It produces hot air all the time wich tells me there is sirculation through the heater radiator.
I have tried different techniques to get the air out of the system incl. vacum filling.

I have G11 coolant in the system, so it should´nt boil at well over 110 degrees under pressure, but mine does it at 94 degrees.

                        Anyone experienced similiar?
                        Any tips?

Have you checked that the lid (where you fill up the coolant) is not broken. It should be able to produce a pressure otherwise replace it. Although boiling at 94 degrees is quite low, but its a tip at least
