I am really a rookie on this, but the boostgauge do you have to buy it, or can they check it in the garage. I have seen a few subaru's with such a device in the car.

Same advice I just gave.
They know what they are talking about!

For technical questions you can search this forum or talk to Audiparts ( located in Erp , Brabant ) ; i never had problems with my wastegate ( or spring ) so i wouldn't know how this problem feels like. ( BMW 330i can't get past me so i think everything is still OK ??)
I believe there's no full power in 1st gear ; but i never tried it. It is hard to believe but i never floored it on a dry road just to see how quick it really goes from 0 - 100 km/h. ( and i have my car for 3 years now ) I like to drive fast but curves are more fun and tyres are cheaper than clutches / drivetrains.
But everybody should have their own fun.
Let Audiparts have a look at your car ; they get most of the S-models for maintenance and tuning in their workshop.
Good Luck

No power, no glory!

I just picked up the car. Everything seemed to be ok, didnt had problems or heared any strange noises. Only when the car is warm there is a water temperature warning light blinking in the small orange screen. The temperature of the water does not exceed over 85 degrees, the oil temperature reach 80 and is stabel.

Ok, i will check that. Can I just fill it up with any kind of cooling fluid.
Id check amount of coolant in the water and top up with either water or coolant additive...... Make sure its the right additive, it should say in the manual or on www.s2central.com
I drive a chiptuned S4 (1992).
I have about the same boost as Carlo, 1.7 bar overpressure.
It is tuned by RICA in Wateringen.
Stay away from Audi dealers, or dealers in general.
Try indeed audiparts in Erp.
I have good experiences with them.
Use ron 98 fuel for a tuned engine.

Thanks for the info. I will make an appointment soon, I still have the problem with the coolant. It is now leaking as hell, I refilled but its now coming I think out one of the hoses of the right side (when you stand infront of the car) just behint the ven. Could it be some kind of overpressure. It wasnt at the beginning?

Erik, this is usually due to the gas leaking away. Get the system checked and re gassed. About £80 I think..

Thanks David , I will take contact with an aircon specialist. First I have to deal with the coolant that is leaking out of the system . I thought I found a picture of the a 3b engine somewhere on this forum of on cental.net, but I cant find it anymore. Does someone know where I can find this.
