Congrats!!! now you should retumble at least one door lock or be prepared to jump the battery like that all the time!

It's a good thing to know, though!

So you're ready to buy me a beer if I ever get really lost and end up in the country of wooden shoes?

                Hehe,

Get those door locks sorted. It's an hours job on the first side to disassemble the door card and lock and 10 minutes on the other when you know what to do.

I will do that. First I have to get a battery. Tonight I will get the old one out of the car so I can see which I have to buy.
After I replaced I have another problem to solve, the water pump. I already read a very good article of someone of the forum which done the same. So I hope I can do it with a good friend of mine. I have to start again with my job at monday, so I still have this week.
I hope I can trust on your, and the rest of the forum members, expertise again.

                  kind regards,

                  Erik de Bruijn

If he'll be visiting you in A'dam, might I suggest the AK47! :mischeif: Breakfast at Bernie's!

I think the suggestions people gave here were great! Using the starter wire, that's just genius!

Yeah, i was really happy with that solution. I was already standing with a hamer near one of the side windows.

This option doesnt cost me anything (only a biiiiig bear, when porkkis comes to visit the Netherlands)

65Ah should be enough. I suggest you buy the the largest battery you can put in the battery box in your car. Take the measures of the box and go shopping

Only thing to watch out for is match sure the vent is on the same side as the old battery.
