If you move the upper rubber lip, the spot i have marked on the picture, you can se the vin number stamped in to the body. And if it starts with WAC its at genuine RS2 body.

It is a well known RS2 in NZ, it was imported from Porsche Germany with 2*,***kms on the clock (RHD) by European Motor Distributors (NZ's official Audi/VW importer). It is meant to be some kind of pre production car.
Its also painted Guards Red.

No, I think it might be a prototype of some sort, but that's diffinitely a RS2.

Maybe the RS Blue car was a LHD prototype, and the Guards Red was the RHD prototype?

it is not entirely correct, Audi had one RS2 on the 1993 Motorshow at Earls Court, in London, so some models must have been build before 1994.
