We jokingly suggested that Audi Tradition is actually Fritz and Klaus in a Portakabin at the bottom of the parking lot with a basic infantry of parts spread over a 4km site... They don't work bank holidays, weekends or indeed after 4pm and are semi retired.... They do like Audis, especially old ones, but don't like 200,000 emails, computers or things that distract from 4.01pm...

The website gurus recognised this so were able to fudge a couple of settings where Fritz and Klaus could set a VAT rate incorrectly or a payment method error to prevent 200,000 parts requests whilst they were playing golf over Easter.....

Basically, it's Audi through and through.....

Called them today, they are aware of the issue and trying to cope fixing it. They did offer an alternative of ordering the parts through the dealers who apparently have access to Audi tradition

I was at Basingstoke Audi last week to report issue and attempt to order from Audi Tradition through the dealership but they refused. The all commented on my nice car, just a shame they wont supply back up to some heriatage that made them what they are today.

A months downtime is simply incredible, I can't help but think they're not telling us something. Will this ever be fixed?

I currently trying to find another way of sourcing the parts from Tradition. If I’m successful I will let you know how.

I have an active account with them and can order with invoice as a payment method which cuts out this error. Happy to setup another order if anyone needs parts. The parts would have to be delivered to me first though and then sent on.

I can't remember exactly but I think I registered as a business customer and provided a UK VAT number. I'm not sure if the Invoice option appeared after several orders on card or not so don't know if the invoice option would be immediate.

Comedy how can you set up this type of account?

Also there is an option for different delivery address and payment address so why would the part have to be delivered to you first?
