MPG Figures

I average around 23mpg if I use the S2 for work (30 mile round trip in traffic) but I used to get 26-27mpg when the journey was a 70 mile a day round trip. On last years ring trip I managed to get an average of 26.6mpg over 1709 miles including laps of the ring. Before the laps I was at 27.8mpg.

MattS2 has a photo of my dash achieving a silly mpg figure. Can't remember what it was but he probably post it up at some point.

18 - 20 round town (if you're lucky and restrain yourself)
20 - 25 on the 'open road' depending on how sprited your driving is.
25 - 29.7 on the motorway at between 70 and 100+ (in Germany )

21.9mpg on the motorway and 5mpg (by the computer, although I think that it might have been less) on the Nurburgring, where an entire tank lasted 8 laps.

Good point, 5mpg is about right with digital throttle!

over about 1000miles ive averaged 24.1mpg (mixture of roads) . when im cruising to work at 70 its well above 30mpg on the instantanious consumption guage!
