Wednesday Morning Ramblings and a strange problem?

Ha! Once changed a rear hub and whilst it was still on stands I couldn't move it with my hands (you can probably see where this is going…) so I loosened the hub-nut until it the hub would turn freely…..

….cue one very "interesting" 80mile journey along the A120/M11 back home from my parents……

Kinda figured what I had done (or rather not done) after about 20 miles but it was chucking down with rain and I hadn't packed my tools with me. Certainly drove back very gingerly, expecting to see the rear wheel overtake me on the motorway…..

And other stuff like refitting AFM's the wrong way round…..learn but your mistakes, that's the best way I say…..

Earlier this week I was re-fitting the top of the wastegate and putting the airbox back in on the S2, 5 minutes later.....I find the wastegate spring sitting on the spark plug cover.

Off it came again

Many moons ago when i was but a young apprentice- changed my first clutch - on a landrover - put it ALL back together- just letting the ramp down when i spotted out of the corner of my eye - the release bearing - no prob - just the old one - no that's on the floor over there.......................FF**********KKK....... .........got home late that night...
