How to fit a DV to a UR quattro

This is a 10 valver running K-Jettronic mechanical fuel injection.
I've had this Bailey DV knocking about that I took off the S2, it still works ok so I thought I'd fit it to the ur, fancied a bit of wooshing on gear changes and keep the turbo spinning. Plumbed it in just before the throttle body and Tee'd into one of the vac pipes near the IM. left the other side open as a dump to air..
The car starts and runs for a few seconds then the vac from the manifold slowly opens the valve and the car stalls. I took the spring out and stretched it a bit and put it back, lasted a bit longer then opened and stalled again. So do I just need a stronger spring or do I need a different type of valve?

Sounds like the same problem that rs turbo's have, they require the twin piston type dump valves, did it work ok on the s2?

I had heard mixed views of bailey dump valves on the s2 as I quite liked the sound of the bailey on some other turbo cars I had. What made you take it off the s2?

It might be worthwhile contacting paul bailey and seeing if he does one for the ur and if its listed different to what you have?

I suspected it of leaking and I had an almost new Forge DV in the tool box so I swapped them over. (then I found the boost leak in the line to the ECU which was thre real cause of my problems..)
Been doing some searching on ebay and it seems the bailey DV 26 is the twin piston dump type for cars with a fuel metering head, then there's a DV36 with a trumpet on it

As i remember it will need to be a recirculating type (basically a piston type of the original)
Seem to remember that they won't work if vented to atmosphere

              Don't quote me tho.

But isn't this one an atmo valve too?

I think he wants an atmo valve one, i'm sure there is a way around it, probably a twin piston one as mentioned above.
