I went to Sheffield earlyer to collect some wheels and it was snowing, but when i got back to Leeds it was kinda snowing(but not enough). All you in the south/midlands are having a great time in the snow lucky gits!!!!!!!!

I ended up in halfords today (reluctantly) and i overheard someone trying to order some snow chains, the assistant got on the phone only to be told that its illegal to use them in the UK. Is that true?

yip chains are illegal for normal (main) road use, you'll see the odd emergency service vehicle with them on (fire engines recently), you'll get away with the snow sock/fabric options which are easily available

Up near london, hardly any snow, on the drive down to swindon earlier today you could see the snow increasing to the point when I got to lechlade where it was quite bad.

Annoying thing was, when racing a bmw I heard what I thought was a stone hitting the windscreen, turns out it was actually a stone smashing my front passenger headlight

still ten minutes back at mine the car now has a new passenger side light Its good to have spares
