Dyno results are always a little subjective as they can vary quite a lot from one RR to anothe, and on outside factors such as ambient conditions and what fan set up they use ect. The fact GT500's RS2 with MTM 350 chips pulled only 10 or so BHP more than Andys MTM set up suggests some continuity.
1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.
1992 C4 2.8 Avant quattro
1994 MTM RS2.
1998 B5 TDI quattro Sport.
2000 B5 TQS.
Only did one run in 4th gear, the dyno operator said the car shut down at 5800rpm but also the AFR was going very lean anyway.
are any of you boys coming to the RR day next weekend, would be nice to have 20 or so to compare (*different specs, but good for comparison non the less)
my Stock* ABY S2
MTM remap
K&N panel filter
Apicol 1.8T coils
VR6 MAF
made 295bhp and 324ftlbs when it was last RR
Ill be going next weekend and the only thing changed since then is the addition of a Wagner RS2 Evo intercooler
what kind of dyno is that there? unfortunatelly if it is not a maha the results cannot be compared adequatelly
im offering my perfomance box if a dyno day can be organised somewhere in the midlands in a track with a good straight to do as many runs as each wants, and compare results and power out in the open road where the cars actually run!
When everybody had left we put the standard mk4 golf GTI on,it's a 1.8t which in the book says it's 150bhp. It had a full service three weeks ago and pulled 155bhp???? It seemed to read very low on 4wd car but on the 2wd cars it got some good numbers??? I think we should try Awesomegti's rollers next time.
Oh hell does Vas car move well pulls like a train when 4up!!!!!! Can't wait now till March/April time next year.
ride is simple bilstein+ oem springs. Hope to use the red springs i had modified in march and see the difference.I might just stick with the same setup though if i fit the 235 tyres and the whole thing looks ok.We'll see.
as for the street dyno, im all for it. Lets see what we can do with this one...
MAHA dyno strikes again! Quite a few threads on the differences between these and a more conventional run-down dynos. AFR is a worry but if other cars were doing low figures and high AFRs then I'd get another opinion.
All sounds a bit off, if the chip and injectors are different to the turbo spec. then it'll not run right. Best to get some RS2 or suitable injectors and a custom map with 3 Bar MAP such that it's all designed to work together, fuel pump too as you said. Short term fix could be to hard wire the fuel pump and get a higher value FPR. Hope you get it sorted

If the chip is designed to the S2 injectors then something else is a problem with AFR, but if the chip is designed for RS2 injectors, then there is your fault
Do you actually know what spec. it's supposed to be? For a 303 to run a little low on a day where most cars did it sounds OK. For a bigger claimed output something is wrong. S2 injectors are wrong for much over stock RS2 power.
