O and for what it's worth they are crap as they are totally in the wrong position to put a cup, you bash into your cup all the time and it is not easy to pick you cup up out of them.

To David In Dublin...
Thanks for your comments. I would like to find some RS2 recaro seats or some S2 equivelant recaros. THey must be heated and powered.Bigger Photos are excellent to show off all your hard work. Looking good.
Seeing that you've put some much effort into the car, you might be thinking of finding second hand Recaros from Mk 2 golf or Jetta, and recovering them with black leather ?
Alternatively, find a second hand set of urS6 sport front seats in black leather, or sport black leather seats from a B4 Cabrio in the breakers? Just make they fit yourself as regards height, they may sit slightly higher in a B4, especially with a sun roof ?
Seats from an S8 ? Not sure if they fit, but nice enough and fully electric ?
In the engine bay maybe use a black plastic pipe leading to the throttle body, in my mind it absorbs less heat than a metal one ?
Rear aero wiper ?
Kind regards.
THe Urs4 seats will not fit in a B3/B4 chassis. The seat rails are way too wide.
I had a plastic Rs2 boost pipe. It cracked and I went to the metal pipe. I like durability is some areas.
WHat does are Aero wiper look like? Any pics?Comment

To cab9fab....
Joe,
Nice to see you got a correct width head unit in there now. Looks 100% better, even if there is no in-dash CD. I see you replaced the dash with one that wasn't cut for the old head unit.
I used a similar head unit in my conversion, and typically just use my ipod with FM modulator.

Yes,I replaced the entire dash with a newer 1995 B4 90 dash. It was nessessary in order to do the passenger side airbag installation. Plus it gives me the bolstered glovebox which conforms to the passenger door card map pocket.
I know how to install that wide dash Concert 2 CD player now. I found a site that shows how to modify the faceplate width to fit the dash. Someday I will get that project done.Comment

To A1Qship.....
Thanks! Yes, the B4 keyless is awesome. Works perfectly and transfers in nicely. Only had to make 18 inch extensions to the wires going up the B pillar. everything else is plugs in directly. The pump/controler is located in the little cubby just in front of the plastic tub in the far right rear of the trunk.Subscribed! Well done. Do you have the remote key from the B4 working? Do you have pictures of where the battery cable is routed in the cabin & comes out of the frame rail near the starter/alternator? I am in the process of doing exactly what you have done. I have been collecting parts for years & completely parted out a '95 90S sedan for parts but neglected to get the ABS bracket before sending the shell to the crusher
Oh well, I will find another one to part out. Still need black carpet.
Chris
I have some photos of the cable route but I cant find them. I will snap one later and post it for you.
I did the same thing as you. I gathered the parts over years and waited till I was ready to do it.Comment

Brilliant, I bet it goes really well
I use the middle tray when I'm on a long drive and buy a garage capuccino, trouble is if you accelerate too hard the coffee ends up in the back..

Acp,
An Aero wiper is the "floppy" style of wiper on more recent / new cars. I have Avants, so not sure which "new" car will give you the correct one for a Coupe.
Someone else should know on here and will post the relevant details, maybe even with a photo.
Kind regards.Comment

I think my Coupe Aeros are from a Lupo. If you get them set up right you can hardly see them from the front when parked
