after being advised to go with the RS4 RARB, I wanted to see how I got on before going even bigger....I have a whiteline rear ready to go but I am happy at the moment..So you don't reckon to fit the RS2 front ARB then chaps???
So you're running the RS4 Rear ARB with the stock front? How does it feel? Explain please what you mean about "a gnats under the RS2"
Why is it always the darkside? I'm thinking this is the lightside, I'm feeling the force and its good
There's going to be a lot of Johnnybravo's parts on this car, one broken potentially saves another few, don't knock it
(that was the dark side talking  )
as for the way it handles, it is more neutral.... I also have an RS2 sat in the garage...
the rs4 is 15mm...the rs2 is 16 and the rs4 quattro GmbH is 17...but these are quite rare and I wonder if they could suffer with subframe cracking...
I hope this helps....I do intend on going bigger at some point but I wanted to see what the change made to the car.....
viva l'avant!!...if there is such a phrase...

The RS4 RARB is definitely a big improvement, the stock one is a twig
I took it round my handling course today its pretty nice but I miss the stiff front bar. I think it needs a set of Konis too really

Jobs done this week since fitting the bumper etc at the weekend..
Fixed the clock, fitted new gear knob.
Have had reduced boost a couple of times, once on Saturday on the M25, max of 10 PSI, 5 mins later tried agin and back to 20 PSI. Did it again today, stopped for milk at the shop and a few minutes later started it up and back to normal
Didn't do this on the stock ecu although overboost was unpredictable..
Should be going to White Cottage for a cambelt service tomorrow
Miltek and towbar parts due to arrive also.

Good to hear John, no idea about the boost issue, N75 valve maybe ?
Parts will be with you between 8-5Comment

Yeah, maybe N75 sticking, will check it out. Got a text from the courier today

10psi is an odd amount, any boost cut should see 0.4bar as this is WG spring boost only. Has the WG cap been tampered with, or the spring?
What revs was that boost at? (It drops off towards redline as I'm sure you know).
Spare N75 is worth a try but better to connect VAGCom in case it's an altitude sensor or IAT sensor, for example.Cheers'en, AndyC

Or maybe TPS? I'll pull the codes.
WG cap is intact.Comment

No codes with engine running.
With WGFV unplugged I get about 6 PSI which is correct. Car is boosting to around 20 PSI this morning no issues although boost is slow to build, without the push in the back that I'm used to with a chipped K24.
Are you aware of any ecu condition which would reduce the boost by about half?
The reduced boost happens after a hard run through 2-3-4, next time you put your foot down only 10psi, but then if you cruise and wait a bit its ok.
I wonder if its the cats? Johnnybravo has sent me 2 empty cats with the Milltek so we'll see how it goes with that.Comment
