bloody hell!

I bought the wifes car from Lincoln Audi last year, very underpriced as such as they sell trade in cars directly rather than punt it through a middle man. Even still £15k for what appears to be a very nice B5 RS4... then again its still £15k. Pal of mine sold his B5 RS4 for a shade over 20k 3 years ago to buy a B7 RS4. Part the reason for upgrading was the reasle value of the car was then (thought) to be £35-40k, reality is about £10k less.

It's been possible to get B5 RS4s for as little as £10k for some time now. I'm still not sure how that would affect the price of RS2s TBH. They are quite different cars.

You've got to be prepared to spend on an RS4 if you do miles in them though, everything is expensive, brakes, belt change, turbos

But the problem is, if you can get an RS4 for £10k - £15k most people would NOT buy an RS2 for the same money. I agree they are different cars, but not many would pay the same for a newer, faster, more advanced car..... Myself included!

RS2 is a different car, it's a lot more than an A4 with knobs on. It's got Porsche written all over it

RS4 is for people with an engine hoist or deep pockets IMHO. They're about the same money now, but which would be the better investment. The RS2 will always be a special car. As Rusty says...

I would have an RS4 for more of a daily, but an RS2 as a weekend toy.

i was looking into buying a b5 rs4 but i thought the engine bay looks ugly so decided against it. not the sort of thing that would stop many people buying a car but there you go

I think ultimately RS2s will end up going up in value where as everything else Audi will go down.

Its got to be the only 'affordable' collectors car that audi have made.
