Not sure why you didn't just use a stat from a motor factors, would of probably saved yourself a few quid !

Price i've been quoted isn't that bad, i thought! But if it's cheaper another way???

Its only a thermostat but I'd have no issues with using a non genuine item which might of been slightly less.

Keep that in mind when you need other parts for the car, some are dealer only, other parts can be had from a motor factor for less, just don't use the cheapest parts available
