I should add, you can get it ALOT cheaper than on ebay!
I always buy my Tamiya kit from www.stellamodels.net and even with shipping from HK it is still loads cheaper.
For example, I have just priced up the Sand Scorcher and radio gear, including shipping (takes about 6-7 days) it is only £250!
All you need to do it add a battery and charger, which you can pick up locally for under £20.

The site is 100% trusted, and recommended by the official Tamiya forum, so you wont get ripped off.
Ive spent over £600 with them and never had a single issue

AFAIK we get a big discount on 5 pcs of the same car as long as we buy the radio gear too...

I've had stacks of RC cars.... Have built a couple of the tanks with sound and they are totally awesome and great fun... Also have the Big Rig with the 3 speed gear box.. Its brilliant fun too...

Ive got a kyosho inferno mp7.5 sports. Seriously fast!!
I took out the front prop and locked up the front disk so in theary max speed is x2 as fast as standard

got it wound up to about 50ish, lost control and broke the front hub! That was 2 years ago and its still broken

I've got a hotbodies lightning nitro buggy. Haven't had it running for a while though as it's developed a fault where it drains the reciever batteries in seconds. I really ought to to dig it out and get it going again as it was a good laugh bashing it on bmx tracks etc. It gets expensive though when you refuse to go home until it's broken

I have a couple of old cars in the loft (rough rider, bruiser, blazing blazer etc)....I could use that Hilux to complete the three but £550 would get you a much better condition model if you kept looking.
