Definitely the noise from the 3" turbo-back at the moment, now I'm using the car as a daily driver! Will be sorted, albeit in a couple of months now I've decided to keep the Golf as my 'Station hack' for the summer as soon as I sort the leaky alloy wheel

Sounds like you've had every known problem at once! The noise is a PITA, it's a combination between slightly misaligned brakes and can be made worse with weak wheel bearings. That said, mine were OK for a while after replacing the WBs but are not a little noisey. Just part of the fun... I once did Bristol to Sheffield with my left foot on the brake to stop the noise, quite entertaining... not.Cheers'en, AndyC

NOTICE: To all who bought VDO boost gauges - Please all read the small print where it states that HPmuirt cannot be held responsible for anyone forgetting to look out of the big windowy shaped thingy at the front, following the fitment of a VDO GB boost gauge.
You will also notice that the small print also states that HPmuirt cannot be held responsible for anything, since having a mental age of 12 he is immune from prosecution
