It will be her first Audi so need something reliable with room for our pitbulls in the back/trunk. Of course I probably wont be able to resist the urge to mod it down the road. Open to suggestions....

aha! Well a lot of guys on your side of the water seem to like slapping a PES G3 supercharger onto a 3.0 quattro B6 A4 for somewhere around 360bhp if I remember right. I have to say it's a thought that sits at the back of my mind, only damened by the thought of my wife's reaction to me spending that money on a supercharger.

Of course you could just find yourself a nice 4.2 V8 S4 (B6) if you have the funds? That would definitely satisfy practical and fun

I was lucky to pick up a 2.5 tdi v6 q allroad a few weeks ago on a 2000 plate for a decent price (£not a lot ) it needs a needle lift sensor and a good clean, the previous owners was moving and couldn't afford it anymore so mentioned it to me and told me it was an A4 which took me by surprise when I turned up and found out it was the allroad instead. Cars fully loaded, tv, heated leather electric recaro's, sat nav every toy possible. So i've let my dad have it. It still went ok with the problem with the needle lift sensor so till thats swapped its been parked up.

:bang: yes ake, starts and runs fine just a bit down on power due to the needle lift sensor according to vagcom, pulls ok if you use the cruise control.

I can't loose on the car as I only paid £600 for it luckily as she was just going to scrap it. Any bits you've got lying around would be a good help

If you want some more bits for your car let me know and i'll see what I can do.
