weak boxes so I ve read
otherwise normal turbo care stuff-oil changes etc
think same engine as 200sx so lots tuning potential , just beware of the box
sounds like its worth that much in parts if it does break

fast but fragile has been my experience with them, anymore than 300bhp tends to kill gearbo/transfer boxes, but there awesome fun and look so mean for a little car

the parts where the reason for buying it , as i was thinking of braking it , but would like to razz it around my privite test track first . did here about the box s but it sees to drive ok at the moment .

it all so got padel clutch. don't intened on keeping it for too long .

its got a good 8 grands of receipts

we will see , could be a right nightmare

the SR20 is an ok engine, if a little bit fragile as said. Running at anything more than about 250bhp you'll need to make sure its got an uprated fuel pump, colder plugs and also the injectors get to maximum duty cycle at around 270-280bhp. Also the oil spray bars above the cams block and reduce oil supply to the cam lobes, can lead to bottom end failure. Turbo gaskets are a common failure, also not sure if the Pulsar vertion had the issues with the VVC sprocket which causes a scary sounding rattle at idle but really nothing much to worry about. They're pretty basic compared to the audi way of doing things turbo wise so make sure its all been done propely otherwise they can det themselves to death in no time - on the whole i'd just make sure its all been done belt and braces and it'll be a load of fun, if a little chavvy

ya defo chavy mate . but winters coming and it dark most of the time .. it s had a lot of money spent on it . so i think the pump would of been done . i ll give it the one over before i take it for an mot . but all in all it seems ok , its a little ruff around the edges but it is a 20 year old nissan .

its also got throttle bodies as standard

standard sunny bootlid and bonnet and a stealthy front mount would make an ideal sleeper
