Snow is Stirling Just a couple of inches but still good.

Went out for a bit and had a great time. Always amazed by how quickly you can build up speed in a quattro in snow, and then stopping is exactly the same as everything else!

Then went on to prove that 4x0 = 0 by grounding out

Jees the cold weather has really shown up my "wan-li" and "sunny" tyres that are on the S6. I bought the car with them on but they are woeful altogether, can't wait 'til they're worn out so I can get some decent rubber on there.

OT @ NEWSH are you crossing the water? Don't be stuck for anything, you picked a nice weekend for travelling.

Great fun, but boils my feckin blood all the nobs who flash you just because you have the balls to get out of 2nd gear and overtake them while they do 10 mph.
Easier driving in the fresh snow of the outside lane than it is to navigate the piles of slush they sit in.

The S2 is due to go back into my parents garage once I get the chance, though. For now, it's going down in the pub carpark ...which unfortunately involves a fairly steep ramp

Tempted to take it out and have a bit of a play in the snow, but I don't really want to risk getting salt on it.

The A6 handles itself pretty well in the snow, but really needs some decent winter tyres on.

Had plenty of snow over here in Cardiff last night, took the car out on some of the quieter roads and tested out the Nokian's I bought in February. Really a whole lot of fun and a lot safer on winter boots, braking is the main huge area of improvement.

Off down to get an oil change 1k miles after her engine work.

Virgin snow on the road and no numpties.. Awesome fun

First observed snowfail for me this year: just saw a guy drop his mate off at the pub in a Suzuki Swift - booted it away... shitload of wheelspin followed by somehow stalling it.

Anyway, he sorta coasted up to where we were standing... both driver and passenger had their heads down

This was while I was explaining to my neighbour lady how to use her headlight switch after I noticed her driving round on constant main beam...

Had a light dusting here when I woke up yesterday, I was planning on taking the Subaru out but given the nearly non-existant tread on the tires I decided not to risk it. The little Pug coped pretty well all things considered!

Well thought I'd go out in the car today and do a bit of Crimbo shopping at castleford, got there and it started snowing again. Brilliant I thought got near our lass's house and the rear wheel bearing has collapsed so no fun for me tonight and I just put in 3/4 of a tank of go go juice.
