Last week I rebuilt CMG and DQT 01E boxes from scratch, yesterday polished the lips of the boleros for the summer. Next weekend will try to get the automatic swapped out to manual.Comment

Wanted to take the RS2 for a day out with the family, but Laura wanted A/C so the Golf had to suffice... haven't looked at it over the weekend
Good Friday I may spend a few hours on the car - need to strip down the ancilliaries and take the head off. I'll have that exhaust spanner if it's available

Day 2 of s2 tinkering went very well.
Decided I did not need to Re-bleed the brakes so I proceeded to change the rear pads.
Found a sized slider on the passenger side, all sorted now.
I also made this tool to wind back the pistons
Yes I know they are not that expensive to buy but this cost nothing more than some thought over a cup of tea and a bit of searching and fabrication in the garage.
